Mock Trial Week #3(ish)

Attorneys

  • Witness descriptions: Prior to the trial, you will prepare a brief
“description” about each witness (What is his/her connection to the trial? What
information do they have to prove my point?). These can be in bullet point form.
  • Feedback form for opening/closing statement when done

Jury

  • Use your “Article #2 Research Sheet” to create a rough draft of your 2nd feature! There is not a sheet to fill in, as some of you are choosing to do a visual type of feature (like a political cartoon, etc). This doesn’t have to be perfect, as it is still a rough draft.
  • When done with rough draft, find another jury member’s 2nd feature to peer review. Here is the form you will need to fill out and share with the person & Mrs. Fitzgerald.

Witnesses

  • Find 5 real or create historical fiction-like quotes that your witness can use in the trial.  These should be obviously related to the questions you are going to be asked by the attorneys. Make sure you note which question this quote can be used for. Also make sure that the quotes do not contradict any evidence you found about your character.
